about us
Founded in 2011, Hope charity dedicated to empowering Libyan women.
Since 2011 our main goal is to help the Libyan woman become an efficient member of today’s society .We make sure she is aware of her rights and has the means to practice them
We pride ourselves on our ability to enrich the Libyan women with education in various fields
Such as English courses, computer science, TOT and more.
We also help develop their skills and abilities in other filed, which will benefit them in the future and help them achieve independence by providing them with courses in sewing, cooking, crochet and Cosmetology
With degrees, that allows them to practice and work anywhere in Libya, we are proud to say that within just 2020 over 50 of our girls have gotten contracts in their field of choosing
we mainly focuses on troubled women in need of help such as divorcees , widows and young girls with abusive past or trauma ,our specialist team of social workers is available to the women 24/7 either in sessions or via hotline to offering them guidance and a chance to improve their lives
The majority of our classes are free of charge, we are proud to say our charity has graduated over 22000 girls over the course of the last 10 years
Even though Libya has suffered greatly within the past 7 years, from wars, lack of resources, electricity and much more, we have pushed through and never stopped to attend to the Libyan women’s needs, and we plan to continue with our vision to help and empower Libyan women.
In all our branches (4 in Tripoli and 1 in Musrata,) we make sure to provide lectures on self-improvement and ethics for all students and employees. Offering lectures in self – improvement, etiquette, ethics for every field (especially in the nursing field), self-worth … etc.
We offer lectures over global issues for awareness such as international month of breast cancer awareness, international day for violence against woman, international woman’s day and more. and our campaign called علي خاطري يا وليدي Ø³Ø§Ù…Ø against violence and weapon use ,and (don’t touch .. don’t get near ) for field mine awareness
As part of our (Covid 19) charity safety measures, our team in the sewing department has provided the Scouts and Guides Commission with 4000 mask made by the hands of our girls
This small community has become very similar to a family, where younger girls feel safe and appreciated and for them to be the best version of themselves.
We have trained our employee’s to be the best they can possibly be and have had training and collaborations with various organizations such as Cesvi organization, Libyan red cross, GIZ, collaboration with Unicef and many more.
